<Bastard> is LINE's Saturday webtoon. It undeniably is LINE's popular thriller webtoon, which has been running since July 2014.

It's contents are a bit shocking though. The protagonist 'Jin Seon''s father is a seemingly sound entrepreneur, but he actually is a psychopath serial murderer who kills women of his own taste in turns.

The development of the story is based on the school life of 'Jin Seon', a weak boy who is a loser in the school and him fighting with his father to protect his first love as he gradually changes.

In recent episodes, the chemistry between 'Jin Seon' who leaves his house and 'Kyun Yoon' who is his first love is remarkable as they start to live together. The feelings that come out from the combination of 'Jin Seon', the rich kid and 'Kyun Yoon', the child head of household, give romantic comics vibes. 

But the genre of the webtoon is definitely a thriller and it's atmosphere changes breathlessly! Such an astounding transition of the atmosphere is possible because of one certain character.

'Dongsoo Seon', the father of the protagonist 'Jin Seon', is literally the main character in the webtoon. The atmosphere of the webtoon frequently changes to never get boring and it's all thanks to 'Dongsoo Seon' as the most contributing character.

Furthermore, the atmosphere constantly shifts as the genre becomes thriller after the father shows up and the protagonist confronts him by training himself strongly to beat him.
