1. A pretty girl and a pretty girl

Isn’t the best part of a Yuri that a pretty girl and another pretty girl make a love story? The story is mainly about small events happening in the relationship between lesbian Eunbyul and bisexual Sena. It happens that Eunbyul’s first love was a pretty girl and the one she feels jealous to is also a pretty girl. 

2. Comical unfolding of their own problems

The examples are like these: Eunbyul blaming herself when she sees Sena in her sleep looking for a penis on her, Sena in pain for that she can’t say Eunbyul is her girlfriend when she is asked by others if she has a boyfriend, and a conflict brought by Joonsung who approaches Eunbyul with the purpose of going out with Sena again. The cheerful humor wraps the story of that they have to hide their deep love to others and that their love is slightly different from what other people usually do. Personally, I like such a direction more than depicting a Yuri as a hidden and closed love.

3. A Dimwit ex-boyfriend of her

Joonsung, who accidently come to be in the same mandatory class with Eunbyul, asks her a favor to help him date Sena again. He mistakes Eunbyul’s repulsive reaction to something else, and the plot twists with his misunderstanding. The readers have the fun of the situation that everyone near Joonsung but him become aware of that. Joonsung largely contributes to the conflict between Sena and Eunbyul.

I’d recommend <My Girlfriend's Ex-Boyfriend> to the reader who has not been long with Yuri and dares to know all about the genre.
