< Denma > has already been published since 2010 and has been running for seven years. As it reaches 895th episode on May 27, 2016, it seems that it's 1000th episode will be coming quite soon. The story simply never ends. Many theories are still left hidden in the narrative and I believe I will be able to see them get revealed in the next few years. I dare say that, I'm happy.

In the distant future as the setting, there is a courier organization called Silverquick that locks up 'Quanx' who are people with abilities for forced labor. Denma was the villain who was originally called 'Dike The Merciless Death' but he gets caught by Silverquick and become trapped in the body of the child. The story takes place a time when technology has been developed that can put the human mind into a cartridge-like object and transfer it to another body. The religious group that is pulling the wires for Silverquick from behind is called the 'church body'.There are also the council and the nobles that balance the power with the church body. These three forces maintain the universe eight as they fight for initiatives in it.

's usually consist of omnibus episodes. Each episode has a different story. So far, there are a total of 14 episodes as of yet; Sixteen, Pi gear, Marionette, Savoy Gaal, Mandragora, Yael Road, Blackout, Eve Rachel, Captain Hardok, Kuan's Fridge.

Beginning from the love story 'Sixteen' that touches the reader's heart, the omnibus stories such as 'Pigear' that throws satires on fathers who are living to protect their children and the story of the tsundere character, Dr.God who makes every effort for his loved one in secret are all masterpieces that cannot be overlooked. At first glance, all the omnibus stories may seem independent from each other, but they slowly move toward the end with a sing direction.

The artist Yang Yeong-soon tries to answer questions such as ' What is a human being ?' and What is the definition of the human spirit?' through . It resembles epic science fictions in which the characters travel parallel universes in some ways and that asks the question of human existence in other ways.

 

There is a title called in Japanese animation. In the animation, the story of the space pirates and each of the characters in the universe gets introduced in the form of an omnibus, and then, such scattered individual stories eventually come together. It was a good title in many ways since even it's music composed by Yoko Kanno became quite famous to be used as BGMs in numerous TV broadcasts. I consider could be a masterpiece that would be comparable to in Korea. Wouldn't it eventually become the webtoon that could be read over the generations with values that do not essentially change? Perhaps, even more, if it gets completed properly.
