If you enjoy webtoons, you must have heard of ‘Girls of the Wild's' and 'Noblesse'.

'Eleceed' is a new work by the trendy webtoon artists who created these two works above mentioned together.

Eleceed is a breathtaking action & comedy webtoon with two main characters; ‘Seo Ji-woo’ may be a pushover, but he stands strong on what he thinks is justice, and he still has great potential to develop. Becoming the top of the world,  ‘Kayden’ had the huge capability so that it wasn’t easy for anyone to defeat him in the world of awakening powers. Some reason caused him injured and he’s turned into a human. 

The story begins with Kayden being greatly injured by some reason and seeking for a way to hide his trace. Beginning with thunder, Kayden is bleeding and chased by someone. While he’s seeking for means to hide his trace, he discovers a cat being caught in the box. And he turns himself into a cat.

And the juncture returns to Seo Ji-woo. Seo Ji-woo is a high school student who plays the role of becoming a mom for street cats. Up until this scene, he looks like an ordinary high school student who is getting along with cats like friends. But, he shows he’s got special powers when he saves a boy who tries to catch a ball on the crosswalk. 

How could Seo Ji-woo with abnormal speed and Kayden in a cat appearance meet? It’s arranged by street cats.

As usual, Seo Ji-woo feeds three street cats and they show a gesture to follow. He follows them and finds out Kayden who passes out in blood. Seo Ji-woo takes Kayden home and gives him some treatment.

Since Kayden had to hide his identity, he tried to act like a normal cat. Kayden can’t stand feeling humiliated that the protagonist treats like a real animal since he is so innocent. Well, he has his charm looking innocent like a pushover and acting just like one. What happens is that Kayden speaks human language, exposing his identity. The protagonist is first surprised. But Kayden is a cute-looking cat, even though he talks in a threatening look. Besides, Seo Ji-woo is a man of intimacy. They soon become close to each other. The webtoon will be fun if it continues the bubbly story of two characters. However, the story moves on and spices the situation up with an accident.

At first, the only thing Seo Ji-woo thought was to avoid the cat trying to attack him with threatening claws. However, Kayden tells him that the cat might attack other people, it makes Seo Ji-woo’s pushover temperament activated. He takes action to put the cat down.

It's just a fight against a cat, but actions are absorbing since the webtoon masters have depicted the scene. Although the scene is a fight between a cat and a human, Seo Ji-woo, it made me feel immersed and continue to scroll down because it felt an action scene between humans.

Additionally, he sometimes shows a good sense of comedy which makes the action & comedy genre well-placed. If Kayden appears as a human, he would have look profound and arrogant. But he’s depicted as a cat. The nature of the cat is smeared into his body from head to tail which reveals artists’ unique sense of comedy. If you’re a cat lover, you find yourself to smile when cats appear in this webtoon. 

And now another person of awakening powers appears, who turned Kayden into a cat. Because Kayden’s body got injured, he has to maintain to be a cat’s appearance. And in case of the protagonist, Seo Ji-woo, he was ostracized and moved a lot because of his power so he hasn’t developed his power yet. He’s a mere beginner. Fortunately, a villain who uses and awakens cats as subjects of experiment hasn’t figured out who they are.

What will happen to the two? The flow of the story is getting more exciting.

Also, a student who is a disciple of the villain currently transfers to the same class as Seo Ji-woo. They come to know each other; when Ji-woo rushes back home, these two are bumped into each other. In the context up until now, this transfer student has been raised and used by the villain and he misses his peers just like Seo Ji-woo does. Will he escape from the villain or be depicted as a villain and discarded in the future? He’s a character who makes us curious.

Currently, this threatening situation has helped Kayden improves Seo Ji-woo’s skills after he was awakened. When Cayden helped him, he mentioned that it would take some time. Perhaps, Ji-woo might acquire Munchkin’s power, so he can implement it very soon. How will the chaotic story of these two go on?

Since this webtoon is created by the masters of the Linewebtoons, drawing and the story are guaranteed. If you liked ‘Song Jae-gu’, the protagonist of ‘GIrl the Wilds’, you’ll like Seo Ji-woo, the protagonist of Eleceed as well. They seem to overlap a lot; both have pushover-like innocence that it even shows in difficult adversities. They can’t stay quiet when they see anything unjust. And they don’t avoid justice but directly face it. 

Currently, the identity of the villain has been exposed, and the protagonist's power has been awakened and growing.
