The first Lezhin Comics World Comics Competition was popular for its size and cash prize. No one expected the winner of this competition to be this hard and provocative.

The webtoon I would like to review today is <Delicious>. It’s the webtoon about a food columnist specializing in vegetarian and healthy foods, but this webtoon also smells like a rare piece of steak dripping blood. 

 

<Delicious> of Lezhin Comics is a popular webtoon by Minso Kim, and it’s the winner of the Lezhin Comics Competition as mentioned above. 

Delicious looking food and the male protagonist with hansome visual drag the readers attention since the prologue. What’s scary is all meat used in the dishes in this mystically sensual webtoon is human meat. 

The protagonist never eats them but serves them to the people who visits him. It’s a thriller webtoon about happenings between the crazy killer protagonist and his neighborhoods. Meanwhile, it’s looks mysterious to see the protagonist seeming to feel subtle affection towards the female protagonist. 

The male protagonist is a killler while the female protagonist is a prostitute. It adds its thrills as every person connected to them gets soaked by blood in their own ways

The poor environment of the neighboorhood contrasts with the luxrious living of the protagonist who is food columnist.

The dishes combined of colorful vegetarian ingredients and human meat, people liking these dishes after tasting them, and the combination of luxurious characters and bloody-raw characters make this webtoon uniquely appealing.

 

 

Twist after twist, the past of the protagonist started to unveil and the fate of the surrounding characters changes accordingly. Subtle feelings started to form between the male and female protagonists. The webtoon <Delicious> has special sense of immersion sweeping readers into the tense and thrilling atmosphere.
