There is a saying “Too much is as bad as too little”. However in the webtoon <Stand Up!>, it seems like too much is at least better than nothing.  

 

 <Stand Up!> by Warren is a new popular adult webtoon on Lezhin Comics. The protagonist is sterile, and he got used to being like this; he doesn’t even care when his female friends make fun of him in drinking parties. On one day, he gets lost in the middle of the mountain while hiking with his friend.

 

He ends up reaching the penis rock that has only been seen by people from far distance. He sees branches of tree coiling around the penis rock.  

 

 He sympathizes(?) with the penis rock that seems to have a same problem as him, so he cuts those branches around it. The moment he cuts the branches off, a snake attacks him and he loses his consciousness. 

 The mountain spirit shows up in his dream and gives him the stamina of the penis rock. The stamina cleared up what was blocking his energy. After this, erotic current flows between him and his female friend whom he has been able to treat like a friend since he was sterile.

 

Maybe the stamina was too strong for him? His erection doesn’t go down once it starts. His female friend helps him getting rid of this, but this troubles him in another way. It was a problem when the penis wasn’t getting hard, but now it’s also a problem that it’s getting too hard. These absurd circumstances and fantasy-like concepts make readers laugh out loud.

 

 The scenes depicting the couple wavering on the boundary creates sexual tension and palpitating atmosphere, which allowed the webtoon to get high rank among the adult webtoons since the beginning.  

 

 <Stand Up!> is getting more interesting to see how the protagonist, who obtained the great power now, will use his inner power that has been idle for 20 years.
