The webtoon is a slice of life comics on LINE Webtoons, which has been loved since March 2015., which depicts the daily lives of the heroine 'Emma' who seems a bit naive and 'Ryan' who lives next door to her in peaceful manner, impeccably combines fantasy and everyday life unlike other slice of life webtoons.

Even though her visuals may look like an elementary school student, the main character Emma is a female college student. She is really close to her childhood friend Ryan like a family to a point where she could go to his house in pajamas to eat together. 

However, as the title suggests, the 'secret' is that Ryan and his family are all monsters. Ryan actually is s 'werewolf'. Emma, who is like a family to him, does n't know the secrets of his family.

Of course, Ryan and his family have no intention to eat Emma. Rather, they love and care for her. Especially, Ryan, who keeps scolding sloppy Emma to takes care of her makes the readers smile. Even though Ryan complains that 'it feels like taking care of a sloth that is about to become extinct soon' to look after Emma, the readers find such situations peaceful, sweet and fun. 

The process of revealing Ryan and his family's secrets is also the highlight of the webtoon. However, one of it's shortcomings is that as the love story of the college couple is treated most importantly, other interesting elements of the story tend to get buried.

Since the cute drawing style, it's colors and other devices are most suitable for romance comics, it can be claimed that such story development is the best way for the webtoon to proceed into. Yet, it is also true that some readers worry that many interesting mysterious elements would become wasted, getting completely overshadowed by the love story.

An ordinary female college student Emma and her childhood friend, Ryan. The readers certainly look forward to the fantasy life webtoon to tell them the sweet story surrounding the secrets of the neighborhood which only Emma doesn't know about. I definitely want to recommend it as a romance webtoon to be read with a light heart.
