What are the criteria for a good cartoonist? Knowing how to draw well? Or understanding how to write a good story? Certainly, there are some cartoonists who draw well but have a messed up story. Conversely, there are other cartoonists whose drawings are messed up but are geniuses in story writing. If so, would one be a good cartoonist when they do both of the tasks efficiently? Such argument could be either right or wrong. Producing comics requires a delicate balance between popularity and creativity. In that sense, let's take look at the artist, Haga. At least by my standards, Haga is a cartoonist who is likely to succeed in the aforementioned aspects.

 1. For the Sake of Sita / LINE  

   Any cartoonist must be stubborn. They need to be determined in their drawings. When one sees her paintings, they can perceive that she has gorgeous and exquisite qualities. Without giving off a heavy atmosphere, even though it is a webtoon, reading For the Sake of Sita is quite fulfilling as if one is consuming an old comic book.

  People often view such cartoons and say, 'it feels suffocating.' Moreover, the story development happens in Nepal which indeed is an unfamiliar country to us. The story that starts from one man's effort to revive a woman smoothly flows with almost nonexistent plot holes providing the readers the feeling of reading a novel book. 

  Besides, her both drawings and story are always stubborn. The limit of creativity that the artist herself can compromise and the storytelling desired by the public. The very appropriate combination of the two makes the readers realize the artist's commitment to perfection. How could it be not perfect when both are combined?

  The stories of < Sita Jaruna > and < Han Sang-min > in the webtoon may look seem a common time slip adventure. However, the webtoon's brilliant colors and narrations that feel like reading a novel make the readers guess that it won't simply be a normal story.

How about the twist that catches the readers off guard at the last minute of the story? The webtoon's story that is way more thrilling than any average movie script just has too perfect storytelling for a webtoon. A webtoon that is not a waste of time and resources. At least for me, For the Sake of Sita is such title.
