<Will you Marry Me> is a webtoon that received lots of love and was published into a book that you can purchase in books stores. The webtoon unfolds the story of two people, ‘Will’, a Seoul person who is strong outside but soft inside, and ‘Mary’, a Busan woman who is an iron hand in a velvet glove.
The webtoon shows the whole story of Will and Mary from their first encounter to marriage. The webtoon makes you feel tingly and the characters are adorable.
Will might look like a manly man with lots of muscles from exercise, but he is actually a sensitive soft-hearted person inside. On the other hand, Mary might look like a white and innocent lady, but she is a manly lady from Busan. Will is a Mind C writer and Mary, a writer 12 years younger, is his girlfriend. This webtoon contains the actual story of the artist. The artist refers to himself as a soft-hearted Seoul man who went all the way to Busan for Mary, the manly Busan woman he fell in love with. The power of love is truly amazing. How can a person possibly go from Seoul all the way to Busan just for his girlfriend?
The webtoon is written in episodes. You can read about their phone calls, how they missed each other, how they softened each other’s anger, and how they went shopping together. It is amazing how the artist met his girlfriend despite the 12-year age difference and the distance between Seoul and Busan!!
Also, maybe it is true that men like it when Busan girls call them ‘Oppa~’ in their dialect.
Will fell for Mary’s ‘Oppaya~’, which led to a long-distance relationship and made the artist move all the way to Busan. Haha. I am not a Busan girl… but, it is cute when my Busan friends speak in their dialect.
I find myself smiling when reading the lovable stories of Will and Mary. My dating cells seem to resurrect. The words in the book makes you think, ‘I get angry the more I read it, I can’t handle the corniness. And I want to be in a relationship so bad!!!’ Haha. I completely agree. I can feel the love the author has for Mary, who is now his wife!!^^
