The title of this webtoon is , but the girls of the webtoon are neither wild nor serious about dating unlike my expectation. Only thing left is a power trip, so please go on a power trip for the vicarious satisfaction of us unhappy. When reality intervenes in a fiction, the work turns in a strange direction. It is like making us feel not good if it allows a cold single room in a semi-basement and a monitor turned on to our daydreams. Facing a sudden reality is not nice at all. A fantasy should be one thoroughly. We actually don’t need to realize the vanity of life because we are not Chuang-tzu. We just don’t like being in the middle between a dream and a reality.

 

The protagonist somehow became the only male transfer student at a school which was previously a girls’ school. And, he fully drew girls’ attention so that girls rushed on him, and they fell in love with him. How unrealistic is this? The thorough development of works for reader’s vicarious satisfaction should not be serious. Even the prologue mentioned: “we are not interested in realistic love. Why does it matter that lots of girls like a boy? There might be some words to say if someone brings up feministic point of view, but if the work insists on what it is like, it’s not polite to criticize it. 

 

This work shows vicarious satisfaction thoroughly. A girl who is good at martial arts beats up the protagonist’s enemies, shows her affection towards him, and plays a power trip based on the rich background. Of course, all the situations are set for the protagonist. Isn’t that great? Harem and vicarious satisfaction. More importantly, the protagonist does not settle for the situations and tries to grow more than now, so I can say it couldn’t be better. The work is so simple and exciting in story development.

 

There is only one moment when the exciting story leads to the wrong direction. When reality comes in the middle of story development, the work turns in a strange direction. Practical problems of dating can be a good example. When the protagonist faces up to the reality while thinking that he reproaches himself that he does not suit with a rich girl, it starts to wander from the subject. Making fantasy collide with reality is like causing an optical illusion. If the bran doesn’t accept what you’re looking at, you’ll be confused. It is not a conflict which can be clearly solved, but it’s not a fun one even if it is solved.

 

It is such a good idea to give reality and seriousness to the story. But, the realistic point of view should be applied differently based on the occasion. For instance, the reality which suits well at this webtoon can be said that the male protagonist does not use Sharingan. Honestly, we are already far from being serious.
