If you see new webtoons published, I think that you can get to know the feelings and styles that were popular at that time. There was a time when insane stories were famous. Although they are still popular, of course, there was once a time when insane webtoons appeared and entered. If you pick the best of the insane story teller, you'll probably not be able to mention it without the author ‘Langtto’, who seems to take a barrel of medicine. As you can see from his previous work, ‘SM Player’, which begins with the insane title, he is an insane author who has made a lot of things that are interesting to people. What if this is a webtoon that includes the unique taste of his insaneness, seriousness, and famous words? All those are included in Naver Thursday webtoon called ‘Circulating Rumors (Ga Dam Hang Sul)’.

What does it mean by the title of the webtoon, ‘Circulating Rumors (Ga Dam Hang Sul)’ that comes out here? According to the Naver encyclopedia, Ga Dam Hang Sul is an ancient idiom, comprising of Ga, meaning ‘street’, Dam, meaning ‘word’, Hang, meaning ‘street’, and Sul, meaning ‘word’. In short, it is the hearsay and folklore that is passed from mouth to mouth. However, unlike false rumors about a completely untruthful story, it is the story that floats on the streets but may be true. Perhaps that's why the beginning of this story begins with the story of a stone that tries to deliver a message to the king.

It's currently more than 160 episodes and it's worth reading every single one of them, so I will just give you a little bit of a rough story. It could be a little spoiler, so if you have not read it yet, do not move on to the next paragraph.

The beginning of the first story of the 'Ga Dam Hang Sul' begins with the annihilation of a village that knows, makes and manages the secrets of the ‘Cheon Dong Ji’. The ‘Cheon Dong Ji’ which is supposed to be dedicated to God, was burnt down due to its mishandling. Because of this, everyone in this village dies except for a slave who went to take a test for the master and this significant master. The problem is, however, occur from this point. The god who punished with lightning was the one who worked like a slave in the village to watch the ‘Cheon Dong Ji’. When God finds out that the master and the slave are not dead, the God uses men to kill them. Meanwhile, Master ‘Kang Myung-young’, who were supposed to go up to see the test, still finds a different way to live. The slave ‘Bok-ah’, who went to take the test, also meets other unusual characters and talks with the king, and his military ‘The Four Great Warriors’. The story begins like this.

Then, I would like to talk about why Langtto's 'Ga Dam Hang Sul' is fun and who will be able to enjoy this webtoon. The biggest feature of "Ga Dam Hang Sul" is that it is the work of the author Langtto. It would be hard to understand the previous sentence if you had not read another story by Langtto. Langtto is the type of author who is like a vending machine that sells story and insaneness. In other words, there are many insane things that attract readers’ interest. As an example of insaneness, we can talk about several scenes in the first two episodes. It is a scene in which the main characters "Bok-ah" and "Han-sol" meet each other. For your information, "Ga Dam Hang Sul" is for all ages. However, you can see the unusual development unique to the author Langtto and the subtle development that makes you smile. This is not it. There are also some scenes that the author Langtto provides reversal of story.

I don't think it will be a big spoiler because it's an early episode 1 and 2, and to talk about one example, the slave in the village, who seems to be using his body to work, is actually a bad man who plays with Bok-ah’s sister in the beginning of the story.

However, he turned out to be a God, ‘Shin Ryong’, and as I mentioned before, he appears to forgive the man who burnt ‘Cheon Dong Ji’ but kills them mercilessly. "Shin Ryong" breaks the preconceived notions of white and benevolent. Furthermore, the story also seems to have a little twist, and when you see one episode, you are attracted by Shin Ryong who tends to do but it actually does not do so. Another unique feature is the screen that moves. Now, some authors sometimes write in this style, but one of the early authors of this type is Langtto and his ‘Ga Dam Hang Sul’. As you scroll down, you can see the webtoon in a curious yet more realistically as the screen moves, such as the scene where Shin Ryong’s clothes have changed from the shabby clothes of slave to the one similar to the Dark Knight, the scene where the stone is turned into a person, the scene where the ability is exercised, the scene where something is broken, and the scene where person is walking.
