How is the fate of a person decided? People are born with different looks, intelligence, and physical abilities. Some people exceed in these factors and some do not. Today, let's take a look at the webtoon, , which begins with the imagination that the human destiny is determined by the dices that were rolled in a previous life.

The main character, Dong-tae who rolled 1 on the dice in his previous life is an all-time loser. The webtoon begins with the episode in which Dong-tae who was short, ugly, and bad at both study and exercise coincidentally, meets the transfer student Tae-bin who was perfect in everything, to roll the 'Dice' once again. 

People can enhance their strength or appearance based on the random number rolled by the dice. Thereby, dice is very much a magical object that can change people's physical ability and appearance. 

Dong-tae, who rolled the 'Dice', becomes a 'Dicer' and collects more 'Dices' by carrying out the missions given by the unknown guy called 'X' through smartphones. However, as 'Dices' get spread throughout the school after Dong-tae hands over one of his 'Dices' to a friend, X uses such situation to commence his bloody missions and games.

The webtoon shows various characters with different values, such the main character Dong-tae who believes that people could become happy with 'Dices', Eun-ju who claims that people should live as they were born and other surrounding students who became blinded by their own greed, causing conflicts and resolving them every episode to execute a tense narrative. 

The reader comments that try to interpret the hints and foreshadows provided by the artist to deduce the story among the readers are also fun factors.

The title was interesting from the get-go with the setting of the 'Dice', and it is indeed amusing to imaginatively ask oneself 'If I had picked up a 'Dice', which part of me would I improve?'.Moreover, both the story and the drawing have no crucial flaws and as the story focuses on the consideration of the limits of human desire and how to overcome them, the webtoon indeed becomes a masterpiece.

is a well-crafted piece that I would recommend to anyone who hasn't read it yet with confidence. As all the foreshadows that were hidden in a veil are gradually getting revealed by a tense story development, the dice have already been thrown and I presume that the result would be quite exceptional.
