Everyone has a busy life each. But as humans are not robots, they naturally require the concept of breaks and need elements to comfort themselves, pat-pat. The simplest and easiest method of having a break is visual healing. As webtoons are nowadays consumed by people on a daily basis, though fancy and complicated webtoons are still attractive, calm, simple and comfortable webtoons are also a necessary genre. Hence, when I read the three webtoons that I am going to introduce, my mind becomes relaxed and I get to think of various ideas.

 1. My Kitty and Old Dog / Cho / LINE    

   There is harmony in their daily lives. I refer to the pets, the main character's companion cat and dog. As the word companion suggests, the daily lives of the two animals who live next to the main human character are not dynamic but rather calm. Yet as there are plenty of keywords that arouse the sympathy of those who have raised pets before, the webtoon makes the readers nod their head easily.

   The calm story, of course, depicts the happenings experienced by us, the humans, but also, the animals' version of events as well. It is very easy to see, understands, and accept the animal companions as a living being, but it is indeed something that we often forget. Plainly telling a story about appreciating one's pet gives the readers a chance to think again with serenity.

   Furthermore, the differences between the dog and cat that gets portrayed in the middle, and the humans viewing them as cute make the readers smile silently, bringing no better healing.

 2. Dalgona Diary / Dalgona / Olleh Market Webtoon  

   Cozy, every day is sweet. Of course, for some people, their daily routine would be a realistic burden to carry, but if they could just laugh at it, such attitude would become their attractive aspects. And, as the webtoon's title implies, the artist draws those moments of daily breaks in a sweet, and intimate way.

   The sceneries that the readers see in the webtoon are indeed familiar to them. Anybody could have experienced such moments once in a while, but not everyone would have cared about them. As the artist unravels the situations in her own soft and flexible sensations, the readers gain the opportunity to look back on their daily lives.

Furthermore, the artist's unique, lovely drawing style that seems like cute stickers is more than enough to make the readers get immersed in the webtoon. As the title suggests, the webtoon is like a diary in which a girl's lovely and tender emotions are generously infused.
