Here comes a sweet and creepy romance just like the title of the work. That is Horror and Romance by Lucid serialized on every Thursday on Line Webtoon. The main character, Dami has been different since she was a child. When she drew friends, she said her friend was a ghost, drawing a scary ghost. When she drew a princess, she drew blood and tears on the face of the princess. Thanks to this, she’s been called an eccentric kid since she was a child. But, it was just our pure love for horror!

 

We’ve grown up now. Our pen name is Horror Cartoonist walking on the path of horror for six years with drops of blood. The ranking of our cartoon always hit on the bottom. We’ve determined to finish the obscure period, drawing and bringing the romance cartoon to the editorial department.

 

But the romance manuscript we took is too scary to be considered as a romance genre. Heroin says “I love you”, but her facial expression is extremely brutal. While the two main characters hug each other, the mimetic word is “POP.” A gift for a lover is a human organ. According to the story, scenes are supposed to be shocking. But when they are seen within this webtoon, our romance cartoon is somehow funny. There is also an interesting comment of readers, saying ‘if Junji Ito, the master of horror comics creates romance, will it seem similar to this cartoon?’ 

 

As we leave the office, we meet Yoon Sang-hoon, the artist of Where Love Falls, the most popular romance webtoon these days. We saw him friendly and kind on a TV interview. But he’s blunt to answer our questions, acting obviously that he’s not interested.
